Cat No.: GeXP-08 (Gene Expression by SYBR Green)
Cat No.: GeXP-09 (Gene Expression by TaqMan/UPL Probe)
Process:
The ability to monitor changes in gene expression has been critical in identifying the causes or development of many diseases, especially cancer. Gene expression profiling or microarray analysis has enabled the measurement of thousands of genes in a single RNA sample. Gene expression analysis plays important roles in wide areas of research like Microbiology, Virology, Oncology, Stress biology, Pathway analysis and Drug toxicity/development studies.
Relative Quantification:
This method compares the gene expression of one sample to that of another sample: for example, drug-treated samples to an untreated control, using a reference gene for normalization.
Sample Requirement:
20ul total RNA (Concentration: 2-5 Ug) RIN>6, Number of samples, Total number of genes, House Keeping and target gene name, Sequence and/or Primer, Tm, Number of replicates, Amplicon Size and Assay Type
Turn Around Time:
10-15 days from the receipt of sample to Xcelris premises.
Deliverables:
Mean/Medium Cp value, STD±Cp, Amplification curve, Melt curve/Tm calling, ▲▲CT-Method values, Fold difference, Bar diagram of up-regulation, down regulation level of gene. If data is analyzed using advanced relative quantification using E-method, normalized values will be delivered with comparative analysis, compiled summary report and Cp = Ct. |
